I am a research fellow at the Department of Finance, accounting, and control, School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University, India. I have done my graduation in B.com Hons. from Motilal Nehru College, Delhi University, and then did my masters from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, Haryana.
Over time in my academic journey, I realized I wanted to pursue PhD. as learning never stops in this career. I always wanted to contribute something to the existing pool of knowledge and improve humankind as a whole.
I am keenly interested in how a share market operates. The 21st-century demands futuristic multi-disciplinary topics that serve society in more than one way. And acknowledging the presence of psychology in everyday life, it has a pivotal role to play in capital markets as well. Thus my research interest lies in studying the behavior of individual investors caused by underlying psychological instincts (aka behavioral biases) which further impact the stock market movements, and hence the whole economy.
My teaching interest would reside in Micro, Macro Economics.
